Our traditional stone cottages, converted from an old Gunpowder Works, form a small and peaceful holiday village, nestled amongst the hills and oak woods close to Loch Melfort, in extensive well-kept grounds and gardens. All cottages are comfortably furnished and equipped with colour TV with Freeview, DVD, dishwasher, oven and microwave.
Our excellent leisure facilities include an 11m indoor Swimming Pool; Sauna; Gym; Table Tennis, Darts, Snooker/Pool tables; Children’s Playroom; Tennis Court; Putting green; Playground; small trout loch, Bike hire; Pony Rides (seasonal); Badminton and Squash available locally. Our bar and restaurant, The Shower of Herring, offers an excellent and varied menu.
We are ideally located for walking, cycling, island-hopping, bird-watching, fishing. Your pets are very welcome too!
