HIGHLY COMMENDED - Green Tourism Week 2012 Solway View CS is Located with stunning views over the estuary of the river Dee and into the Solway Firth. Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of this peaceful location. Coastal farmland surrounds and you are welcome to walk & explore the farm and nearby woodland. The towns of Gatehouse of Fleet, Kirkcudbright and Castle Douglas are all nearby.
We welcome Tourers, Caravans & Tents. We provide a picnic bench and brick BBQ at each pitch. Camping pitches also have a Campfire Pit provided. At night, relax around the campfire & watch the stars.
We also have 3 Large Wooden Wigwams available to hire. Each will sleep up to 5 people. Provided inside - Electricity & light, mattresses, Fridge, Microwave/Grill, Toaster, Kettle. Provided outside - Brick BBQ, Picnic Bench, Parking area & Campfire Pit. Camping all year round.
