We are so privileged at St Aidan’s to look down over the ancient and majestic city of Durham. The view of Durham Cathedral from our gardens is by far the best in the city and is a constant reminder of the history and tradition that we are part of.
St Aidan’s was designed by Sir Basil Spence, the renowned architect who was also responsible for Coventry Cathedral making us one of the most architecturally interesting Colleges. St Aidan’s College itself is surrounded by beautiful grounds and stunning gardens which are used for relaxation and sport throughout the year.
The staff and students at St Aidan’s College are committed to good environmental practice and continually look for ways we can improve on our environmental plan to reduce, recycle or reuse, which is also supported by the University. |
