EAST OF ENGLAND
GREEN TOURISM BUSINESS SCHEME
The East of England, also known as East Anglia, comprises Norfolk, Suffolk, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Essex. It is a diverse area with some of the most important and attractive natural areas in the UK ranging from the Broads to picturesque Suffolk villages, from Cambridge to the wild and unspoilt North Norfolk coast. The area has over 250 miles of coastline and seven major seaside destinations.

What makes East of England a green destination?

The East of England has 14 beaches awarded Blue Flags for high standards of cleanliness and three designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty: Norfolk Coast, Suffolk Coasts and Heath and Dedham Vale. The region includes the Broads National Park and the Brecks, the driest part of the UK, with unique fauna, flora and landscape..
